Mediation

Well there is potentially good news to be had. Mediation between Lauren's father Randy and Lauren's mother Edith. While this has just started, we are hoping it will go well. I still do not believe Lauren ever made those statements, and either does anyone who knows her. This reinforces that for me. What kind of outcome could there be with mediation in this particular situation? There are only two options. Which means that Edith Towers either lied about Lauren making those statements or she does not respect or care about her daughter's wishes after all.

While I am invested in finding out the truth, I am more concerned with the mediation going well. There are a lot of doctors that are interested in helping, and so many people involved are hoping to help others in this situation in the future. I am read so many different statements and articles about how often this happens, and how little the public knows about it. It is only when a family disagrees that it becomes headline news. Most of the time families believe the doctors, trust the doctors. Even though about 60% of all patients diagnosed PVS, are diagnosed incorrectly.
